Job description:

This manufacturer is an industry leader for a variety of capital equipment in the Food and Beverage, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, and many other industries. They are seeking a Project Engineering Leader with strong leadership qualities to help grow and develop the department. This role will have a major impact on the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing project engineering and project management activities
  • Evaluate work quality, measure progress, prepare budgets, and manage the project engineering workload
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product development, operations, etc. to ensure projects are completed per the customer’s request and on time
  • Overseeing the product design process in the appropriate CAD software
  • Help build a strong culture
  • Train and mentor the project engineers

Requirements:

  • Experienced with CAD software, ideally AutoCad and Solid Works
  • Minimum B.S. in Engineering degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in an engineering design/development role
  • Strong familiarity with Engineering and Design standards
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts
  • Food experience a plus but not required
