Job description:

Join a growing company and industry where you can see your efforts throughout the organization. This is a Food Manufacturer that needs someone to build out their daily and weekly production schedules for building finished goods.  This person will work cross-functionally within their organization and manage/build the schedules for multiple production lines taking inventory, lead times, and production capacity into consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Create and share daily and weekly schedules based on capacity, production, and supply chain
• Collaborate cross-functionally to proactively address the needs of all departments
• Create all work order daily for production
• Monitor and make adjustments based on inventory, lead times, and material that are essential for production
• Work directly with employees to resolve scheduling issues
• Document key KPIs including Downtime, Peak Production, Inventory Accuracy, and Scheduling Accuracy

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience
• Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Versed in master scheduling tools like (DemandWorks, Logility, SAP, or Oracle)
• Tech-savvy with things like ERP systems, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Strong at negotiating, influencing, and conflict management
• Passionate about the process and system improvement
• Detail-oriented
• Proactive in their problem-solving ability
• Understanding of other departments capacity
