Job description:

This startup company out in the Bay Area provides cutting-edge technology that is disrupting the Inspection landscape and support the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical space. They are seeking a Field Service Leader to help with install and service equipment at customer sites. This role will have a major impact on this company.

Responsibilities:

  • Install machines at customer sites
  • Train customers on mechanical install, maintenance, and operations
  • Document and execute Factory Acceptance Test scripts
  • Assemble, wire, power up, troubleshoot, and program the equipment at customer sites
  • Works closely with sales, product managers, customers, etc. to create a successful product and installation
  • Provide phone support when needed
  • Support inventory management
  • Travel exceeding 80%

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with electronic repair
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (80+%)
  • PLC Programming experience with Allen Bradley
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
